Insurance trickery I had a great experience with Labor and Delivery at this hospital. Really great. Amazing nurses. So why only 1 star? Because all their NICU doctors are employed by a contractor and don't take the same insurance as the hospital. So even though the hospital was in-network for us, all our bills from the NICU doctors came back out-of-network, and our efforts to mediate/appeal this were fruitless. Grady Memorial Hospital Grady hospital is very small compared to other hospitals but they are very caring. Since they don't have as many patients as a bigger hospital you receive more attention and better care.
Poor Experience When I was 27 weeks pregnant with my daughter I went into preterm labor. I opted to go to the hospital that was closest to my home, rather than risking something going wrong as I was in transport to the one that I would be delivering at. Unfortunately my OB did not have privileges at this hospital. Great Urgent Care I was seen tonight at the Urgent Care and was very happy with the visit. The staff and Dr. Mosley treated me with a very caring attitude and manner. The wait time was minimal which was surprising with it being a Saturday. I would recommend this Urgent Care to all my friends and family!
Horrible Place...Don't go there!!!! Had strept throat and was told I just had a cold. Don't go there. go to the Americas Urgent Care they have real doctors there!!!!
Terrible Experience I took my son there for a very sore and very red eye and the Doctor didn't even look in his eye and gave him a prescription for a sinus infection. I took him to our family doctor on Monday where he was told he had Iritis. Terrible Terrible experience NEVER NEVER go there!!!!!
They are out to maximize the bill My wife went in for chicken pox. Yes, I know she should not have gone to urgent care just for chicken pox. She should've waited until Monday for her real doctor. While there, they decided she needed a CHEST XRAY for just chicken pox. Now, I am stuck with a huge bill for an unnecessary procedure. She was not having difficulty breathing at all. I will never come back.
