Classic, huge American airport. Cross section of the world 🌍 busy and on the go flying through the antiquated terminals. Once something truly remarkable, but now a sign of declining infrastructure
If you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep (stuck overnight), the couches behind the Connect to Chicago cafe are ideal. No arm rests, cushions, quiet. Closes at 9pm, opens at 7am.
Skybridge is an awesome short order joint in F terminal. Walk past McDs and enjoy a bacon egg and cheese sandwich (croissant or toast), or a big happy omelette.
My second home.
I’m seriously always running through this airport. #sweat
There are a surprising number of good food options including Frontera and some decent wine bars
Not the best bus station
Almost missed my tight connection but the nice people in the cart vehicles gave me a lift. Thank you United!
You can walk between terminals 1, 2, and 3 without going outside security. Way faster than taking the train.
