Oh George! Tables and Taphouse had some standout bites that made for an overall enjoyable visit. The truffle fries were crispy and full of flavor, and the calamari was nicely fried without being greasy. The onion rings were also really solid—thick, crunchy, and satisfying. Atmosphere was all right. We sat outside and it was nice to have a few trees around to somewhat block the fact that we're just in the middle of a strip mall. the tables and chairs were a little clunky and there was a tree often brushing the back of my head. The server was nice but dinged a point because it was happy hour and they have a policy where you can only get happy our prices at the bar inside so I couldn't order my happy hour drinks through my waitress but instead had to go inside order, get my drink and come back ou... read more
My friends and I were trapped here for over 30 minutes after finishing our brunch. I will give it 3 stars because the food was decent and I could tell the server was overwhelmed. But when my friend went to get our boxes to go himself, someone among the staff should have notice and allowed us to pay and leave. Unfortunately I will not be back because of this experience.
