My husband and I were at Oschner Urgent Ochsner Urgent Care – Houma, yesterday. We had the Nurse Practitioner, Mia Savoie. We found her very thorough and she took good care of him and I. I would recommend going there if you need care.
I bought my little girl there. I didn't have any trouble or no problems.
Dr reisner seems to be a germaphobe and misdiagnosis patients quite a bit.
The nurses are great but Dr Risener has misdiagnosed my daughter by not running the proper tests she needed which could’ve been so much worse than it was. Luckily her pediatrician caught the real problem today and she will be ok. He also has a problem with staring at chests. Two of my friends had the same problem. Also, every time I’ve gone he’s diagnosed me with pharyngitis and one time it actually turned out to be pleurisy. Was in and out in minutes. Excellent staff and Doctor. When in a pinch and cant see my primary this is where i go. They listen and are very polite.
I normally have a great experience. Lovely staff and doctors. In and out fairly quick. But today I had a nurse who, when I gave her my weight, shamed me by saying something along the lines of I’m too young for that and asked if I was going to start walking soon. Now, I’m not a small person but I also don’t have any weight related health issues either. She also mentioned that I was “too pretty for those holes in my ears”, I have my ear lobes stretched.
