The front Waiting time was acceptable and the lady who updated my information up front was nice&respectful, but after they took my vitals, I WAITED 45 MINUTES.. patiently waiting to see a doctor. After waiting so long, I left and do not plan on returning. I don’t know how much longer this doctor would have taken to see me. This is suppose to be “urgent care” and they showed absolutely no urgency towards me as well as others in the waiting room in the front. This is a sad representation of Ochsner.

I am an RN × 30 years & have high expectations! Monday the 10th I HAD to visit Ochsner Urgent Care in Houma I was stung by 2 wasps about while working in my yard. The next AM I was up normal work time & my left hand was swollen 3 times normal along with wrists al. hot how discolored Here comes the story: I am taking the time to ACKNOWLEDGE the exceptional care received from check in to DC.! My experience with this urgent care was astounding. Dr. Collins took great care of my son. My son had been having fits and running fever multiple times. I brought him to his pediatrician and they barely checked him and sent us home saying they would test him for the flu, and if he develops a fever one more time then schedule an appointment to bring him back. Very friendly people and we were in and out of their in no time with great care! I definitely recommend this place!
The staff was very friendly and efficient, even though the lobby was full they still managed to get us in quickly. Cassidy guidry PA was very friendly and made sure she took her time to really listen to what was wrong and gave us what we needed to feel better. they called my perscription in and when i got tonmy car and called cvs to find pit how long it would take for our perscriptions to be ready they said they were already ready! i was blown away! very satisfied with the staff and service we received! very clean place as w... read more
The staff was very courteous and on top of my care, I was seen quickly and the dr gave me thorough attention. I have been there several times and no complaints about any of it!!!
