At 58, this was my first time being hospitalized, I am usuallly the one bringing someone else for their care. My care was excellent, started out as a Doctor visit, then thru emergence, and 2 nights. The Nurses and staff was excellent and responsive to my needs. Even the hospital food was good... Special thanks for putting the "Care" emphasis in your Healthcare!
I'm having a terrible experience. Came in the night before last for possible gallstones again and i sat in a room in the ER for hours before I got anything done. Then they told me I have to stay overnight for possible procedure in the morning, but the only thing that happened in the morning was an MRI at 7:30am and now it's 10:30pm and nobody has told me anything about my MRI. They said sometime tomorrow the doctor should come talk to me. This is ridiculous they're obviously not too worried about my gallstones but they shoul... read more
I received excellent treatment in the surgical unit at Ochsner North Shore. Dr. Wolf, Dr. Carl Mayeaux, Nurse Felicia, and everyone, from the lobby check-in staff to the orderly who rolled me out to our car, treated me with the utmost care, courtesy, and professionalism. Over the years, I have learned to expect the only best from the Ochsner team and I wasn't disappointed on this visit. I'd like to offer a heartfelt thanks to all who pitched in to "make my day"...
