I went to the ER with chest tightness and the nurse said "I will put you on a monitor" but cassette was missing. I reminded her once. So I was in ER for 4 hours without monitor. Was suppose to receive an aspirin within one hour of admit as protocol and got it 4 hours later on discharge. Was suppose to receive a mini IV was stuck 4 times and was suppose to have another nurse try since "it was protocol" and I never got it. Dr. told me one diagnosis and completely changed it on discharge when I questioned his opinion.
Surgery was successful and the doctor's were very good at all they did for me I Love my Ochsner Crew
We happened upon Ochsner Medical Center out of concern for my Dad that was diagnosed with a cancer tumor in the pancreas area. He had become frustrated with our local doctors in the Alexandria, La area so out of concern I made an appointment with Ochsner that was almost four hours away. It has been worth every mile driven. The experience with this medical facility, Doctors, Nurses and Staff has been an amazing eye opening one. Dad had his 8 hour and 40 minute Whipple procedure surgery and is home doing well thanks to everyon... read more
Post op visit for my husbands Cochlear implant surgery. Dr Molony, Amy and Claire are wonderful. The staff at the 4th floor clinic are wonderful and treat the patients with kindness and caring.
Valet parking, less than a ten minute wait in lab and neurology. Polite and friendly staff. Loved the piano and typical New Orleans style music in the lobby. Second good experience in past 10 years. The physician spent a good deal of time with us. I would say it's worth the 1.5 hour drive for the specialists.
The staff are very nice and very knowledgeable. The Neuro Surgeon did an amazing job as quickly which saved my life.
My experience was awesome. Dr Sisco-Wise is the best. My preop nurse Caitlyn was great as well as my post op nurse Brittany. The Anesthesia team and the entire OR staff were on top of their game. As an employee, I hope that every patient that walks through our doors at OHS, receives the same treatment that I did. Thanks for the best medical care.
As an RN employee I can tell you it is never easy to be the patient. I had back surgery yesterday and it was an eye opening experience. I have to say everyone was on top of their game. From admission process thru DOSC ,OR, and Recovery all of my caregivers and support staff were excellent. I'd like to recognize and thank Dr Paul Celestre, Dr Connor Ojard, Dr Logan Emory, Natalie Illg CRNA, Nicole Bordelon RN and Jocelyn Sohner CST for their outstanding operating room skills. The pre and postop caregivers were fantastic as we... read more
The Medical People, (Doctors, Nurses, Custodians, Radiology, ER are the most professional and a nicest people, and the FOOD would probably be very delicious, but you have to hound the ASS HOLES over, and over, and over again just to get your damn food, multiple hours late, so I can not give Oshner 5 stars. The breakfast was cold. The Food department is piss poor. They really suck, and my neck was sore from sleeping with no pillow. ALSO, I never received the multiple bills I know that I will receive, so I haven't compared the ... read more
