Well the nurses I had yesterday were fantastic. Dr Townsend was great also. I had a few surgeries there and had good experiences. But yesterday was quite different.
As a double lung recipient my care is outstanding. My transplant team outstanding. The nurses are outstanding. You name the category it's outstanding. Wait remember it's hospital food�but they're working on that.
My dad had a stroke and was air med here. The entire staff showed compassion. They were amazing during this entire time. Upon returning 6 weeks after for his first check up was a waste of time. He wasn't seen by a doctor but instead a nurse practitioner. That was an awful waste of time.
I was sent by an urgent care to the medical center while visiting for Mardi Gras. The emergency department did a quick evaluation and send me for the appropriate testing to which I received a rapid (but scary) diagnosis. I spent Monday thru Friday as an inpatient and the only thing I could have asked for to make things better would have been to be home with my own doctors. Very disappointed!!! Since when do patients not automatically receive breakfast, lunch, and supper? They have to order their own food? And then they don't even get the order right? Nurses are sick getting patients sicker than they already are. No answers are being given..this is unbelievable!!
Each and every time I have been to my appointment I am treated with the utmost respect. Everyone so polite and helpful.
Everyone there was very Polite. I brought my Cousin for her 2ND Infusion... She has Chrons... All were Very Helpful. Thank U
It's a sorry excuse for a medical center. Patients care is the least of their concern, doctors enter rooms asking family what's wrong with patient, lie to family about discharge, over dose patients with highly dangerous meds and to top it off most of the staff feels they should have weekends off and they are skeleton crew just for Mardi Gras, once I get my family out of there I promise they won't be back. I wouldn't send a dog there for treatment.
The wait was too long in the emergency room!! My mother was in pain, there wasn't any beds available. I expected more from the main campus.
