I came in with a broken tibia and severe lacerations to most of my leg. The surgical and nursing staff were amazing. They got me fixed up and ready to go. I have a long recovery but I see light at the end of this tunnel. The billing and accountant group came into the room to fill out financial obligation paperwork for this accident and we're extremely rude to me and also to my attorney. The nurses are sweet as can be.... have a 96 yrs old woman in here for 3 days waiting on surgery for a broken hip. We came in on a Sunday and by Tuesday at 2:15 pm we are still WAITING for surgery! The doctors show up at 2 am to do their check ins... it seems that times have changed from the old way of doing things.

I was in the emergency room last night and everyone was wonderful. Treated for high blood pressure and bronchitis. Service was fast . All personnel were very kind and explained everything so my husband and I understood completely. Thanks to all and this is why I choose Lafayette General.
