I drove from Lake Charles to have surgery yesterday. I have never been to Lafayette General, but when needed will definitely come back. I was very well taken care of by all of the staff. They even helped my husband. Madi was my day surgery nurse. Madi went above and beyond. She was so friendly, informative, and a great IV stick (she got me the first time and that's very hard to do). I am an RN in Lake Charles and truly appreciate the great care that I recieved from everyone.
Great place, especially the NICU. Everyone was great from L&D to everyone at The Pavilion. Shout out to the stork and NICU nurses that initially came to check on Luna, sorry I forget yalls names. Big shout out to Elizabeth and Katie for being their for Luna and my wife and I. You guys are great and put us at ease with great explanations.
Have been to this hospital many times. To many to count and the nurses and doctor have always been wonderful.

My daughter in law had a baby there 1week ago and the ER Dr and nurses were not nice or professional. We wanted to leave. That's the only hospital her OB went to that why she stayed.
At this hospital about a year ago, I experienced the worst anxiety attack of my life and went to LGH. The nurses would not help me, and consistently made me feel like a drug addict. They also did the exact same thing to our friends son. Disrespectful, rude, non helpful staff. After going to Lourdes and was treated like a person, they fixed the problem instantly and also treated patients with respect.
