RecommendedWhenever I was in my car accident, I had the best care here. My surgeons were amazing, and the RN’s that took care of me were the absolute best at making sure I stayed comfortable and not in pain, because I was not easy to take care of, and constantly needed assistance. Way too much to type in order to list every detail about the nightmare that has been my experience with LGH, but I will give some of the bigger bullet points. Terrible patient care, rude staff and employees, and choosing to be brought to LGH after the wreck because they had a trauma center but being put into a regular ER holding bed for 5 hours without being checked on. My daughter in law is at LGMC for the 2nd post op internal infection in a year . Two different surgeries.The first time was in ICU 3 weeks What is going on in surgery at LGMC?Some one needs to investigate this OR issue.
Had to go for needle biopsy of my breast. The care was totally AWESOME ! I will stay with this group.. their care of their patients is above the rest !

The people of this facility and all of the businesses therein are truly horrible people, but seem to balance that out by the fact they occasionally save lives. Document everything that happens to you here, yourself! If anything bad happens, they will and have lied to save themselves and their business! Sadly, there are not many options in Lafayette!
