Had the BEST care for my 4 week old granddaughter who had surgery there. EVERY single person we had contact with from Drs to Nurses to housekeeping staff went above and beyond!!!
Just want to say the words of gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and staff of (IR, Urology, Day of the Surgery Center, 5th floor and 11th floor) Ochsner Medical Center on Jefferson Hwy for taking such a good care of me in the past month. You are the angels in flesh. Thank you so much for all your hard work, great attitude and extreme dedication. And most of all I want to thank Dr. Michael Maddox. You are awesome! )))
Unbelievable. These people clearly do not vet their ER nursing staff. There was one nurse who had a serious body odor issue, do they not maintain regular standards of cleanliness? Every time she walked in the room she smelled like garbage. Her personality wasn't much better. Disgusting.
Ochsner dermatology clinics or PCP won't schedule my mother until July 2018 because she has Medicaid so I created a John Doe account as private pay and I can get her in November 29,2017 for $500. How can doctors make heath insurance # 1 priority over a patients health? Not to mention I just read ochsner is a non-profit organization. Hummm
TOO RIDICULOUSLY HUGE. And getting larger? So I can spend the remaining hours of visiting time wandering from wing to wing trying to find my friend’s room. No thanks.
Ochsner has a new policy in which established patients that switch to Medicaid from private insurance are not allowed to see their PCP in a timely manner, though appointments are available. Schedulers have been told to direct to urgent care.
