Practice’s protectionism. You should be able to get your PD when you get your eye prescription. Even if you had to pay a bit more you are entitled to your own information. You can ONLY get PD if you buy glasses from then which is WRONG! FYI Doctors will give this info as part of your eye exam if desired then you have true freedom to buy your glasses where ever you like including online like “CLEARLY” in BC.
I was in Halifax for an event when I developed a chalazion in my right eye, which worsened during my stay. Dr. John Wilson was incredibly kind and prompt in accommodating a last-minute check-up. He not only provided a thorough explanation of the issue but also recommended helpful treatments that significantly reduced the swelling and itching. Forgot my sunglassss at home. Was recommended this store by a friend. What a great place. I have a big head and they had a good selection of sunglasses to choose from. Very unique glasses. Very helpful and friendly staff and doctor. Would recommend this place to anyone.
I saw Dr. Brooking for a routine eye exam. She was fantastic! I couldn’t have been happier with how I was treated and the thoroughness of the exam. All of their equipment was top of the line and brand new. Staff were all great. Dr. Brooking found an abnormality during the exam and spent a great deal of time explaining everything and coming up with a treatment plan. She ensured I had appropriate follow-up care. I was extremely impressed with her skills, knowledge, and professionalism. Highly recommended!! 😊
