Was delighted to finally get to eat at this wonderful new experience in downtown Utica! The food was extremely fresh, perfectly prepared and simply delicious. The pace was just right - not rushed, not too slow - great dining in a truly unique setting!
Wasn't terrible but wasn't the best. Filet was bland. Not a trace of salt or pepper anywhere. We sat outside thinking of a nice patio. No umbrellas or shade anywhere in sight. Service was below par. Not a terrible place but I'd rather go to TS or Ahead Evans in Syracuse.
Well I've had top notch seafood since I lived in Southern California (Huntington Beach/Newport Beach) for twelve years and I wasn't impressed with the food. It's also very costly for the portions you get. Atmosphere and the staff were great. Been here twice and each time our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We didn't mind the wait either. But as for seafood it's very over priced for what it is. But would I eat there again??? Yes why not. This has become our new go-to place, both for special occasions, and just to treat ourselves during the long week. The food is always spectacular, with great attention paid to nuance. The staff is fantastic and walks the perfect line between attentive and respectful of our privacy. We also went to a holiday brunch buffet and had the best buffet experience EVER. Went for a late lunch. There were not many patrons but the service was extremely slow. The food turned out to be below average and the bill was atrocious. Will not go back and would never recommend it to any of my family and friends. BTW - your HUGE $4.95/shrimp - I serve the same during the Holidays and I sure don't overcook them!
Everything was amazing, right from the beginning to the end!!
