O'Carr's really is one of the best home grown restaurants you can go to. They started from the bottom and worked their butts off to be where they are today, and they are still striving for more! They have a very positive atmosphere and great employees that make you feel at home with great customer service. O'Carr's is the best deli in the city, hands down. Chicken salad & fruit + chocolate milkshake = heaven.
I love this place for its fresh, light and delicious lunches. For me, always the turkey pasta salad.
So...we walk inside at 1:53 this afternoon and were promptly seated at a table. The waitress comes over and says "We close at 2:00 but we can get you something to go". And she wasn't so polite when she said it!!! The guy that seated us said something to the guy at the cash register and he just shook his head. We walked right across the road to the Urban Cookhouse and had a great meal. I hate that Ocarr's doesn't need my business...because you just lost a long time customer.
Always delicious, consistent quality, entertaining atmosphere, and wonderful people. Cannot beat the chicken salad anywhere.. I have been a loyal customer since 1976.

Awesome pasta salad and cheesecake! Eat there every chance I get! You won't be disappointed!
