I've been using this dentist since she took over the previous practice and she is fast, gentle, accurate and thorough. I am a little shocked at some of these reviews. The front desk is efficient, the hygienist, whom I've been seeing for over 19 years, is terrific. All dental problems are tracked, sorted, and appropriate. I can't say enough about the whole experience, and I drive almost 2 hours each way. It's worth it.
All office staff are professional as well as friendly. Services are expertly delivered with a lot of emphasis on patient comfort.

Dr. Obholz, the staff, and the office in general, are wonderful. I have been going to the office for seven years, and from the moment you enter the office I feel like I’m at home. My whole family uses Dr. Yelena Obholz. Love her! Love her staff! They are always so nice and helpful, positive, reassuring, understanding from the hygenists to the insurance clerk. I have had only great experiences each time. Great quality of service.
The staff is very nice. However, I was quoted incorrectly for two fillings, I had paid the quoted amount on the day of my visit, I then received an additional bill in the mail for twice as much as I had already paid at the office. When I contacted the office regarding the amount billed and the major difference in the amount I was quoted, I was told that I should be happy that my insurance was going to pay any of cost because the office. The office was clean but other than that, I don't have any other positives to report. I went to Obholz because she is close to my home and she accepted my insurance. The woman who did my cleaning was fine. Dr. Obholz came in, looked at my mouth for less than a minute and told me I needed all kinds of work. I was so surprised. Staff and Dr. are not informed when it comes to patient benefits. Beware--you may receive a bill in the mail for balance insurance did not cover.
I've been going to Doctor Obholz for several years now as she took the place of my prior dentist. The office seems good and professional but I always leave with more problems than I came in. Two years ago I went in for dental work (filling, crown) and came out needing a root canal. Recently I had a crown put in for a tooth that was never bothering me (and I was questioning why a crown was needed) and immediately after the molar acted up and I needed another root canal.
