99.9% of the team is wonderful, this is specifically about Doctor Kaplin, who after my birth and 6 week check up, dismissed me from being a patient at all in the Obgyn network. On my 41 week checkup I began to show the very beginning symptoms of preeclampsia. I was barely in the numerical range to qualify for it, and she was extremely pushy about doing induction that same day as my check up. Very mixed experiences. The staff is either top notch or bottom of the barrel. Lindsey very bluntly tells us to prepare to make arrangements to terminate pregnancy because our baby tested for trisomy-18. (The test was “indeterminate“ and rather than look at the previous ultrasound for the very visible markers which would appear in an ultrasound to further assist in diagnosing or dispelling her suspicion, she had us grieving for a week and a half before our high-risk appointment. To say this was a negative experience is an understatement. I made the appointment over a month in advance. I received a text link at 850am same day of my appointment with no urgency on needing to fill out paperwork in order to have the appointment. I arrived at 1115, a receptionist called me over to sign me in. She said because I hadn’t filled out the documents before arriving she would need to reschedule. This office is too busy and only sees patients as another number. The staff are rude and care more about running a "business" than actually serving the people in the community.
I have loved being treated by Samantha Reynolds and Elizabeth Arnett! They have both spent time building rapport with me as we have been new to each other. They are informative, kind, efficient, and gentle throughout the appointment and I appreciated that. I felt comfortable being honest with them about my concerns and would see them again for treatment in a heartbeat.
