Hands down one of the best vets in the Capital District
Very reasonable price veterinarian.Our family dog Marley need emergency surgery and where told by emergency care that it would cost $4000-$5000.Called oakwood veteran and got it done for around $1000. Staff is very friendly and professional would definitely return.
Oakwood and Boght are the best around, my boxer boys love going to the vet. Everyone is always so nice and give the boys extra love. They have always been so patient with me as a worry worth, never overcharge me or do unnecessary test just to make a buck.. thank you to all of you , keep up the great work. Kim, Mason and Mackie
these are the best group of people. they are very compassionate and caring. the staff takes the time to explain everything to you. they have fitted me in last minute when I have needed them. I trust them completely with the care of my fur baby.
I have been going to Bought for about 19 years. I have always been treated with respect. When I had to put my first Boston down, Dr. Oles was there to comfort us and was crying with us. My daughter was always brought to the back to see all the animals, a cat with a broken back was back there and was named Sam after her. I had a very sick puppy, Dr. Wagner told us straight out what was wrong, even called Cornell University vet to see if there was anything that could be done when no specialist in the area would take the time. ... read more
I live in Indiana and my mother lives in Schaghticoke.. i was very impressed with how they were able to help my mom and her cat. I was able to pay for her visit over the phone with no problem.. the customer service was 5 star and my moms cat was well taken care of! Thank you Oakwood Veterinary Clinic for all your help today! I wouldn't take my fur baby anywhere else!
I used to bring my dogs there years ago , we have spent hundreds of dollars there and when my Akita passed away and I went to pick up his ashes thinking the bill was paid (under a misunderstanding it was not ) they would not give me my dogs ashes , I asked if I could call later with payment over the phone seeing I was already heartbroken over losing my dog of 12 years and the dr refused .
