I was referred to this clinic as my mother has skin cancer and I have an overabundance of moles and my doctor was concerned, as well as a concerning cyst. Dr. Huang felt incredibly dismissive and did not look thoroughly at my body and told me she “wouldn’t suggest I get the irregular moles removed because I would be covered in scars.” She completely dismissed me and my concerns and seemed only focused on aesthetics. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lynn Calvert. It was my first visit at the clinic, for a Botox treatment, and I found her incredibly professional, kind, and she took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I really appreciated her honesty, she didn't oversell and even advised against treating certain areas because she felt I didn't need it. That level of integrity is rare and very refreshing. I saw Dr. Emily Ballantyne two years ago and she was absolutely terrible. She dismissed all my concerns, ignored all the bloodwork I had previously done, and misdiagnosed me. My condition continued because of her neglect. Thankfully I found another much more capable dermatologist who actually listened to me and provided effective treatment. Emily Ballantyne is either too stuck up to listen to her patients, or just plain incompetent. Avoid her.
