Business Owner Dr. Robert Bower received his BS from Oklahoma State in 1976, and then his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Oklahoma State University in 1978. Dr. Bower is a past president of the Comanche County Veterinary Medical Association. His areas of special interest include: Ophthalmology (eyes), soft tissue surgeries, and pain management. Dr. Bower has also provided care for the Lawton Police Canines Unit for over 20 years.

RecommendedI have been taking my animals to Oakridge for almost 13 years. The staff is always friendly and caring, and they love their patients. The Doctors are amazing and thorough in their explanations, and the love and compassion they’ve shown all of my animals is among the top reasons why I will never go anywhere else.
I love Dr Bowers and his staff! We have also seen Dr Freeman, and she is just as wonderful. Everyone there is always friendly and helpful, especially Kelsey! The doctors are caring and knowledgeable, they all seem to love their jobs and care about their clients/ pets. Every time we go, both Dr Bowers and Dr Freeman love to talk to my kids and educate them about pet care! I will be a long term client for sure! Thank you for always taking great care of our fur babies!!!

Dr. Bower and Dr. Freeman are absolutely the best! They have cared for and helped with my puppies so very much! They truely care and love on my pups.... I would recommend anyone take there puppies here to get the most loving attention and great veterinary care!
Today we said goodbye to our sweet Toby (8 year old Yorkie). The staff at Oakridge has been nothing short of phenomenal over the past 4 weeks as we fought this horrible disease. Dr. Freeman has been amazing and supportive. She went far above our wildest expectations. These folks will be the primary medical care givers for our pets without question.
Thanks for taking care of Cc 🐈 He was diagnosed with lung cancer 3 years ago. And Dr Freeman takes great care of Cc. He is still running and climbing trees like nothing. 💙
We love Oak Ridge Animal Center. Dr. Bower is a great vet and really cares about both the animals and their owners. He helped us keep calm and reassured us when our Yorkie broke his leg. He taught us how to care for our dog during his recovery, and laughed every time we brought him in to get his cast rewrapped because he ate through it. Oak Ridge cares about the pets and not your wallet. Their services are reasonably priced (especially compared to our previous vet) and the doctors and staff are efficient and professional.
They are wonderful always helpful and take awesome care of our pets
