I received excellent medical care, and I cannot say enough about Suzanne on the cardio floor. She was truly amazing! Her caring, calm, professionalism kept me from stressing out during a fearful time. Thank you doesn't even begin to express my gratitude.

My father was moved from one floor to another at which time they lost both of his hearing aids his glasses and cell phone. Each has blamed it on the other I have spoke to the ICU director and this is now day three and no answers.

When you have family members staying in the hospital with multiple problems that depend on YOUR care, Doctors ESPECIALLY, and nurses need to respect your patients and show them kindness and tender loving care. With that being said it does not matter what walk of life they come from, your JOB is to care for these people of your community. I'm disgusted. My Husband Chad Moore went into the ER about a week and half ago due to a severe Liver Infection. He was critical upon arrival. I'm not one to normally put up a review but in this case it must be done! They took such great care of my husband and after 8 long days Chad came home. He's still recovering after having his Liver surgery and now in home healthcare with pic line. I can't THANK YOU ENOUGH for saving my dearest Chad! I had to pick the post-Irma week to get sick. When I went to the ED at Oak Hill they were already at 120% capacity. I wound up in a make shift ward that they set up in a post-op area, yet the quality of care, the professionalism and the compassion under very stressful circumstances was amazing! The nursing staff is outstanding, With leaders like Jennifer, Nurses like Jessica, Samantha, Sandra and Gwen and the absolute finest CNA that I have ever met, GINA, you all ROCK!! I have to say nobody wants to be in the hospital but the nursing staff, (RN, CA, LPN etc..) on the 4th floor @Oakhill Hospital was AMAZING!! They made my stay pleasant, every shift was on point and took very good care of me!! I'm from Citrus County but I'm so glad that I took the EMTs suggestion about going to Oakhill. They made me feel like a priority and was focused on finding out what was causing me so much pain!!! Thank you for taking care of me and helping me get back on the road to recovery!!

Being the family of a physician I was taken in for the night of Hurricane Irma, as were hundreds others. It was a blessing to have this hopital accomodate families of hospital staff memebers including upto 200 pets (pet owners with a wing of their own). & that means the Physicians n Staff could stay focused to take care of ALL the patients without having to worry about home & heart. It just tells how seriously they take the responsibility of proving health care to this community & beyond.
