Stress free moving – I was extremely happy with my move. Kellan and Dave were very nice, funny and easy going and they literally made my move stress free. I am totally recommending this company .
Great Moving Company! – I booked NYcityVan based on reviews so I was a little nervous. The guys were responsive when I called, arrived an hour early and were great! They were very careful and precise and really made me feel at ease that my stuff would arrive to its new location in one piece. My old/new building required insurance which Paul and Steve got to me right away. I have to say I am very impressed with these guys!
An amazing, extraordinary company! – People are still posting about this amazing company because he owner Paul Kennedy is extraordinary-Paul not only listening to customers, he hears what you need and creates a package tailored to fit. Hyperbole, this is just a mover you say? Here's my reason for posting...I am handicapped, live alone and a pet owner. Terrific! – These guys were terrific. I had a very large, sentimental item to move and I was worried about getting it out of my apartment without damaging it.. But, the guys put me at ease. They showed up on time, they were resourceful and worked around tight spaces, and got my stuff into the van with a scratch. They were also great about protecting the walls and floors of the building. It was worth every penny.
WORST MOVE OF MY LIFE – My moving experience with NYCity Van was the worst moving experience of my life. My job was a big one for them and I hired them based on a reputation for care with packing and moving fragile items. The packing was a joke. Just trying to get boxes in the sizes I requested was an ordeal. Paul told me that "that's not a big part of what we do" - then why do you offer boxes and packing services on your web site? Excellent Service! – NY City Van sent two great guys along with a very clean van to help us move out of our storage space. They were on time, careful with our items and super polite. We will definitely hire them again for our next move.
Fantastic, Fast, Efficient service at a great price – The best movers I have ever encountered! After my initial movers bailed the morning of the move, these guys not only fit me in the same day, but offered a better price. The service was way beyond what i expected. I hate moving, but the guys made it somewhat fun! I will always use these guys and recommended them to all my friends!
Easiest move – I had to move my whole life out of a six floor walkup in the East Village. Not only did the two movers handle it with ease, they were in a great mood during the whole job, and I know those six flights were challenging to say the least. The whole company from start to finish was professional and easy to work with.
Best movers! – - fast, dependable service - went along with a few April Fool's jokes : ) - will hire them for my next move and recommend to others
