The fact that this is a women’s and infant hospital, is especially upsetting. Lashonda and her baby deserved proper healthcare. The negligence this despicable hospital showed this beautiful young mother and her child resulted in their preventable deaths. LISTEN TO BLACK WOMEN WHEN THEY SAY SOMETHING IS WRONG. on January 6th of this year, Lashonda Hazzard, a pregnant woman in her 20s, went to this hospital in pain and was denied care. The next day both she and her baby died due to lack of care and compassion by Women's and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. This young woman was black - a person of color

She was 27yr old, black & needed help. They sent her home. Two people died because your hospital is not interested in hearing all patients. Run a program evaluation because you’re not doing your jobs & you’re disgraceful.
