When a pregnant woman of color tells you she’s in excruciating pain and thinks she’s dying, you tell her it’s nothing you can do? You check the baby but the name of your facility CLEARLY states WOMEN AND INFANTS!!!! WOMEN AND INFANTS!!! WOMEN AND INFANTS!!! Your job was to check on them both. Save them BOTH! Now they’re both dead. Screw you !!!!

I read that a lady Lashonda Hazard was turned away and died. a hospital that won't take symptoms seriously? isnt safe. sorry but I won't be recommending this place to anyone ever

on January 6th of this year, Lashonda Hazzard, a pregnant woman in her 20s, went to this hospital in pain and was denied care. The next day both she and her baby died due to lack of care and compassion by Women's and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. This young woman was black - a person of color
