The security at the crusty nugget is a joke! That place is trash I will never go there again.. they did pay me a lot of money though so fuckem!!!!
We just stayed at the Nugget for street vibes and the service was good but we did not get any sleep because of the freight train yard loading and in loading the big Box containers all night long. They need to update their windows or something to help block out the train yard noise. Will not stay there again.
they have remodeled, under new ownership. i still think it's just an ok place. the games are really tight now and the players club has less offers. you can't win here anymore.

Been staying at the nugget for last 3+ years... from valet to house keeping are nice n friendly.... the cocktail waitress are quick n friendly.. I’ve got 4 that are my Favorite... the VIP chk in girls are awesome!! We go a lot for slot turnys.. golf turnys.. bingo.. and shows:) I was sad to see our host TJ retire but our new host Dan is great... will continue to stay there.. I always recommend you guys to my friends... thanks
The poor tired place needs help. We needed a place to sleep in the middle of the night and it was okay for that. No heat in the room even with the thermostat set on 80. Fortunately the beds we're comfortable and had thick, warm comforters. Room was worn but clean. Supposed to be a smoke free room but there was a cigarette burn in the comforter. Planning a banquet with David Pina was easy so excited!!
Our show last night in The Celebrity Showroom was the best experience we have ever had as a band. The crew was on top of EVERYTHING!!! So accommodating. You ask a question, and their answer was always "absolutely!" We will play for the Nugget whenever they ask us to! WUNDERLUST and BILLION DOLLAR NIGHTMARE!
Just recently stayed here, the room had been updated and was perfectly suitable. Some of the reviews I’ve been reading are bad but that wasn’t our experience. Stacy in Catering/Guest Services went above and beyond to ensure my husbands birthday cake would be in our room upon our arrival. Not only did it arrive on time but it tasted beyond amazing and was truly the icing on an already enjoyable trip to Reno. Highly recommend, I will definitely stay and PLAY again.
