The food was okay. But my biggest pet peeve at a restaurant is when you order an appetizer and they bring it out one minute before serving your entree. We ordered the tempura platter. We loved it but right after the waitress brought it out she went straight back to the kitchen and brought out our sushi rolls. The sushi was just okay. The waitress was nice. It was our first time going and I'm not sure we'll go back. :/

Sushi was amazing and very fresh. Our server was super friendly and accommodating. The drinks were very well made and absolutely delish! Can't wait to return!

I took my girlfriend there for her birthday. The sushi was exceptional, the setting clean and stylish, the staff friendly and equally attentive. The owner, Ken, saw that we had checked in and stopped by our table to wish my girlfriend a happy birthday. He even treated us to ice cream and cake afterwards. I can honestly say that the sushi at Novu rivals what I had while living near San Francisco but at Peoria prices!

This was our first visit. The sashimi was of exceptional quality, delicate and fresh. Our Crab Rangoon was precisely prepared and flavorful. The Miso Soup seemed short on Miso, but the seaweed, tofu, and scallions were of high quality. Our green tea was piping hot but seemed to be made with tea bags and was a touch short on flavor.
