Have to visit here at least once a month. Love the flying crab wonton and the Bento box for lunch. Relaxed atmosphere. Great food for a good price. Today the quiet background music was exceptional. Matt does a great job of creating a comfortable atmosphere for any lunch day meal.

We had great food a great service last night. I love the small feel of this restaurant. I also love the atmosphere. We brought in a small cake, and they kept it cool for us while we ate. Thank you so much. My daughter was with me, she just moved to Springfield. She said it was the best sushi she has had yet there. I think she will return. 😁

Novo has the freshest sushi in Springfield. I have eaten plenty of high quality sushi in St. Louis, Seattle, Portland, Denver, & Omaha and I would put Novo’s sushi up against any of them. The sushi here has great attention to detail that sets it apart from most. Also I would say that the service here is top notch, catering to any special requests and all of your needs. If you eat at Novo you will not be disappointed.

I was definitely not impressed with my to go order. We had zero idea that ALL the rolls, including the basic Cali roll was covered in a mayo sauce. Which sucks, because I am allergic to mayo. The rolls do not have a typical rice texture, and after $43 spent on a to go order between the two of us, we have over 3/4 of uneaten. Bento box was ok, and the only part of my order I could eat😣

Service was excellent from the time we walked in the front door until we paid the bill and left the building. The dining area is small but that is much too my liking instead of the huge expanses of tables and servers trying to serve patrons, I prefer the ambiance of smaller eateries as the staff is way more inclined to make sure everything is as it should be. So GOOD! The Avocado Fries were fantastic, and the smoky hot and sexy roll had the perfect ratio of smokey to spicey. I had the Bulgogi Tacos which were amazing and my fiance had the Panko Striped Seabass which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We both had two alcoholic drinks and this all cost us about $60!! Not too bad! We were the only ones in there so we left the waitress a $20 for the great service. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

I have been eating there since they opened. Not very often I review a place but the food and service at NOVO is second to none and I am proud to tell all my friends and customers to check them out.
