You don't protect our private information. You don't do proper maintenance on your infrastructure. You ignore calls about trees on power lines until the LITERALLY CATCH FIRE... and now you think you deserve a rate increase? Nova Scotia Power is, without a doubt, the most corrupt, inept, pathetic excuse for a utility I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If you didn't have a government-protected monopoly you would have been destroyed by competition years ago, and no one would miss you.
Nobody picks up the call. I waited in line for 30 minutes. Unbelievable!
Hours of waiting to reach customer service. Cannot access my account.
Paid partially of the bill, instead they deducted it they add it. called customer service, representative insisted was a back charge. don't even listen but to argue and hang up...
Not sure why all the negative reviews of this utility. Have been with them 6 years.....only minor outages (hurricane related). 3 adults in a 4 bedroom house with heat pump (warmth in winter / cool in summer)....and all the hot water, cooking, and laundry that goes along with 3 adults and in 2024 I averaged $10.11 per day (tax in). $10 a day for heat, hot water, lights when i need them, TVs, radios, computers, garage door goes up & down when i need it to, etc, etc......not a bad deal at all!
