I made 2 separate complaints about 2 lawyers and they refused to look into the allegations. They were for severe misconduct. They willingly allow their lawyers to commit misconduct and refuse to do anything about it when they are reported for it. I would like to appeal my case and get the complaints looked into. I should not have to live with a severe injustice due to 2 lawyers severe misconduct and the society sitting back refusing to do anything about it. Thanks!
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (0/5) – Not recommended My experience with the NSBS has been a waste of time. Their communication style is cold and dismissive. Legitimate complaints are handled poorly. Despite sending detailed documentation, multiple emails went unread, and I received no call-backs and sparse engagement from the organization. If you need recourse regarding lawyer misconduct, consider alternative oversight bodies or an ombudsman, as self-policing in this industry seems highly ineffective.
The Barrister Society should be under investigation for collusion, corruption, & gross negligence. The majority of the lawyers are incompetent & care more about their alliances to the system than any moral, legal, or just cause they supposely care about. Justice is façade that they all participate in and accept hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars to pretend that they stand for something. The society does not take complaints seriously about their unethical lawyers who take advantage of vulnerable people for their own benefits. They allow lawyers to be a danger to the publics interest while neglecting to intervene to stop the harm they cause!
