this is one of the worst hospitals I've ever stayed in post-surgery I wouldn't recommend it to anybody a lot of lollygagging and joking around in the nurses station
RecommendedEvery staff member i encountered during my stay, from Surgeon to Janitor were very professional and courteous. Treated me like a person and not a job function. My nurses super sweet and helpful. My doctor answered all of my questions thoroughly and showed confidence that my surgery would go as expected. I was terrified; for this was my first major medical procedure of any sort, and the staff did everything to help ease my mind. Highly recommend Norton Hospitals. Everything was very nice but one of my husbands nurses. She was very unfriendly but we figured maybe she was overwhelmed. But when she started talking about us to other employees (I overheard her). Then we figured out she was just plain mean. Sad it takes just one person to ruin your visit and your view of the hospital.

I want to thank God for Norton’s Hospital Downton, 4th floor ~ Surgeons, Dr’s, Nurses, and Chaplain. We’re very appreciative of the technology that was used for our family to say our last goodbyes on earth to Uncle Jesse via the app called Zoom. Because of Covid 19, we weren’t allowed to be at the hospital. But, God had a Ram in the Bush for, aka ~ Technology for us to pray, sing, and let him know what he meant to us! Very kind nurses and doctors. Defently made my week there as comfortable as they could. Very clean room and friendly housekeeping staff. Food was good too.

Best hospitality I have ever seen in a Hospital. Nurses on the 2nd floor where so knowledgeable and passionate about their work. The food was excellent. Vickie on the second floor ran around like a chicken with her head cut off. She got things done. Love that hospital.
