I started going to this location about 2 years ago for intense ongoing pain. I saw the doctor about 6 times a year. She was never able to identify the cause of my pain. No matter what I did, Her only option was to send me for more therapy. Needless to say i wasn’t happy with the results. I recently switched to Advanced urology associates. The doctor solved my problem in 15 mins. I no longer have any pain.
Dr John Christensen and Dr Rashid are phenomenal. Both have delightful bedside manners and are excellent at their surgical specialties. Today, my husband had a vasectomy, and the staff and Dr Christensen were kind, caring, & thorough.
This was my third visit to Northwestern Urology in Winfield, but the first time seeing Dr. Desai, and my experience was frustrating and concerning. Despite this being my third overall visit for Peyronie’s disease,no one ever suggested a Doppler ultrasound, which is the standard diagnostic tool for this condition. Instead, he pushed Xiaflex injections without ever assessing my erection or properly evaluating whether I was even a suitable candidate.
