I gave birth back in January- the nurses and doctors were INCREDIBLE. So kind, patient and understanding. The sweetest nurse who was assigned to me during labor helped me so much. Talking me through each step and was just a reassuring presence. During my epidural all I wanted after it was done was a Blue Gatorade- my husband came back with a blue Powerade (which was fine too lol) and my nurse goes “Is the Powerade okay? This Hospital does not feel like just a hospital, it feels like family and healing, everyone is kind and when you tell them you feel that everyone is kind they also respond like that’s why they enjoy working here. We have had different style people helping us and many of them like to listen to us talk. I never knew a hospital could function this way and also the cafeteria is just as pleasant and the food is great. Thank you to any staff that reads this, you have helped my family a great deal and me also.
My nurses were great during my labor/delivery/postpartum and so were all the doctors. Except for 1 nurse…I had a C-section and my nurse the last day I was there was cruel. I asked her if she would help me shower she replied “you are a grown woman no”. She had me lay flat on my back and removed my binder to check my stomach and did not help me put it back on or even put my bed back up. Then she denied me pain medication and said I have to wait until I’m discharged and pick up my meds at the pharmacy. To top it off it was time... read more
