This charming little track in the western suburb of Northville is the winter site for harness racing in the Detroit area. Racing begins in October, as soon as Hazel Park Raceway closes, and continues to the beginning of April. With some exceptions, racing is five nights a week, with the track dark Wednesdays and Sundays. Bettors can wager on other races from around the country. We do the live racing once a month while seated in dining room. The food is pretty gnarly and service so-so but the racing is fun. The track is on its last legs and that is why it is so run down. This is prime real estate that will be condos soon.
Had a great time hanging out with friends and drinking and can't forget the betting on the horses � didn't win but still had a great night
The place needs update, tv for simulcast are cheap don't work right. One cashier was on phone when betting, made customer get shutout for race causing to lose a winning. Food downstairs is too expensive for what you get, food is so,so.
Great way to spend an evening! Fun, exciting and something different to do in our backyard!
