Northlake Tavern & Pizza House has remained Northwest's fixture for sumptuous and crusty pizzas since 1954. An old-school charm still resonates through the dining room, while the quirky yet unpretentious decor makes it a perfect spot for fun family dinners, friendly night-out and casual pizza hogging. A must-try on the menu would have to be the zesty chicken special and logger special which comes with real Canadian bacon. Beer is also served.

Great pizza. Casual atmposphere – Casual tavern atmosphere is appropriate for the food. Awesome pizza (thick and heavy, they don't mess around).
Fabulous! – This is the real thing Seattle! I've finally found a pizza that uses real cheeze, spicy and thick toppings with more than enough to take home for another meal. Good staff with prompt, friendly service. The beer's damn cold and thirsquenching. It needs to be to put the fire out!
The Goods!! – Northlake Tavern provides the best pizza in town because of the inexorbitant amount of toppings that are matched by noone. Other pizza places say a pound of this and that. Northlake provides more poundage of pizza than any other Pizzeria.
Simply: Awesome – The best part of this restaurant is that it is a tavern. Read: no one under 21. Not that I don't love kids but it's nice to have an adult place that doesn't reak like urine (ala Chuck E. Cheese and those plastic balls!) The pizza is more expensive than most but it is truly worth it. A difference to note is that I go with my sister and we both get a pitcher of soda/beer, dinner salad (with the best bleu cheese) and a small logger's special. We never finish the pizza. They mound the crust with spicy peperoni ... read more
Northlake Ashtray – Hope you like lots of cigarette smoke with your meal - if not, go somewhere else. There is better pizza to be found elsewhere, in any event.
My favorite pizza in Seattle – Northlake has ruined me for any other pizza in Seattle. First of all, I love that it's NOT a chain - - not many places like this left when it comes to pizza. Northlake Tavern has a great local feel & reminds me of the kind of place my parents took me as a child ... red & white checked tablecloths, sports on the TV, and thick Chinet paperplates to eat on. If you prefer the thin Pagliacci variety of pizza then you might be disappointed. Expect a 10 pound pizza with TONS of toppings and thicker cr... read more
You gotta be kidding me!!! – Come on, give me a break. Damn, Papa Murphy has better Pizza and it's a hell of a lot cheaper. You're rating talks about Husky memorabelia(sp), I ask, where? The cigerette smoke is so thick you can't see it even if it's there. Well, I'll give them credit, even though the Pizza is bad at least the service is slow.
"Z"-best ever!!! – The cooks here really know what they're doing! The pizza crust is just right , filled with loads of toppings. Large of any variety pizza feeds a samll crowd! Delicious, yummy, tasty...you get the picture...
