Northlake Tavern & Pizza House has remained Northwest's fixture for sumptuous and crusty pizzas since 1954. An old-school charm still resonates through the dining room, while the quirky yet unpretentious decor makes it a perfect spot for fun family dinners, friendly night-out and casual pizza hogging. A must-try on the menu would have to be the zesty chicken special and logger special which comes with real Canadian bacon. Beer is also served.

WHAT HAPPENED? – I have been going there for 25 years, not as much lately. I would recommend this pizza to all my friends until the other day. I got a pizza that was nothing like the ones in the past, something has changed, something is broke. I hope they can fix it before my next visit or I wont be back. It has always been over priced but because of quality it was worth it.
Love It – Living in So. CA we don't get a chance to eat at the Northlake often enough. But growing up there spent a lot of time in the "U district". However when in Washington we're there. We have turned several of our friends from So. CA on to the Norhtlake as well. And so on and so forth. I love it when I'm visiting someplace & I have a Northlake jacket or tee shirt & someone stops me and says you know about the Northlake. They have been known to flash freeze & fly FedEx uncooked Pizza to Alaksa. We love them. Meat Lovers ... read more
Decent Pizza - not pretentious – The Northlake is still a cornerstone for Seattle Pizza, although not as much in recent years. Rumor has it that their meat vendor they bought pepperoni and salamis from went out of business a few years ago. Somehow their pizza has not been good since. I still enjoy the pizza and the unpretentious atmosphere - reminds me of a Midwest dive bar to bring real friends. Leave your shiny-shirts and yuppie cell-phones at home.
Toppings do not equal good pie – Lots of toppings does not a good pie make, alas. The crust was fair. Sauce fair. Generous toppings, but I suspect that's only because that's all they CAN do right. It's fine pizza if you're not picky or someone offers it to you, but you can do better for the same price.
Seattle doesn't know pizza – I continue to be amazed that people continue to rate this pathetic excuse for a pizza so highly. I went to Northlake Tavern & Pizza because of its ratings and was expecting an awesome pizza. Instead I had a pizza that reminded me of a frozen pizza. Looking into the kitchen, my tastebuds were correct - stacks of frozen pizza crusts. Sure they put on mounds of topping - but who cares - the very foundation of the pizza is manufactured and frozen. People that like this pizza should get to another cit... read more
Disgusting canned slop pies – Often, locals latch on to a place and return in a nostolgic attempt to relive their younger days. In turn, this sick devotion is passed on to their children. Northlake Pizza is just such an establishment for Seattle. The product is a truly foul perversion of pizza. In their kitchen, hordes of unhappy college students labor for mere seconds to produce your meal. Starting with a salty dough ball, the pimpled workers pound it out and ladle some red goop onto it. They then dump on pounds of cheese a... read more
Canadian thought – Being in Seattle and experience the food so far from home, l have to say that Seattle offers a wide and enticing variety. Northlake Tavern pizza with its awesome Canadian back bacon was a delicious pizza, with a unique twist with its tavern like atmosphere. Totally unique and well worth going to. Thanks and enjoy
post -game pizza – As wsay back when I was going to UW the Northlake Tavern is still a great place to go for a beer and great pizza. Don't show up wearing the other teams jersey.
Northlake rocks my face off! – By far Northlake is Seattle's premiere abode for the hauntingly tasty delight known as PIZZA!
