I have been petrified of the the dentist since age 5. After my 1st visit, I am not afraid. Perhaps that is because I know they will not do any work that takes me out of my comfort zone, even if in the beginning that is just a cleaning without sedation. Great dentist, great staff. First place I have ever been where they take my fear seriously and address it seriously.

The atmosphere is professional and very positive. The practice is focused on fully reviewing all options for care. Best Dentist I've used in my adult life, across half of a dozen different states.

I've had extensive work done over the years. Dr. Carter & staff always went out of their way to make me feel comfortable & at ease with my "unique" circumstances. I can't do topical numbing agents, as they don't work on me (haven't in over 25-yrs). So "basic" services cost me more because I have to be put under anesthesia, which admittedly gets expensive. However, their office works with me to assure that I won't feel pain or be uncomfortable. I can't recall ever having felt ANY pain during several procedures ...so KUDOS for... read more

I loved going to Northgate Dental so much that I told my husband I wanted to go back the next day. My teeth are kind of a mess, but they made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. They even made me laugh! Everybody there is knowledgable and kind.
