I've been to many medical groups in my life I'm 66 years old and this one is the best ever. I had my consultation diagnostic testing / x-rays diagnosis and treatment / cortisone shots ALL IN ONE VISIT. Spectacular. Will need an operation down the road but I got instant relief now. I met with a Dr at Northeast Orthopedics in West Nyack for pain in my neck. He suggested next steps would be an MRI. The team suggested I take the MRI at their facility but failed to mention that their MRI copay fees would be more than double everywhere else. When my bill arrived in the mail, I was charged a copay of $100. I contacted my insurance company, they advised that if I went to Nyack Hospital or Hudson Valley Radiology, the copay would have been half. Do NOT have your MRI's here. Dr. Jordan Simon has replaced both my hips. I couldn't be happier. With that said, everyone results will vary based on their own physical make up. My first replacement recovery in 2023 was more difficult due to not being able to maintain my physical fitness. I am 17 days post surgery from my second replacement and this recovery so far was much easier. My husband and I are patients of Dr. Barry Kraushaar He is an amazing doctor! Kind, caring and most of all extremely competent. We have referred many people to him and all have been pleased. We get shots in our knees which are virtually painless and very effective. The whole practice is organized and efficient. We highly recommend Dr. Kraushaar
