I live in Marshalltown and remember the day when our mall was as awesome as the one in Ames. Those days are long gone, and we enjoy coming to the Ames Mall. There are a couple of stores that aren't there anymore that we liked, but over all, this is still a great shopping center! :)
Always a great experience! We went to see the Easter Bunny but shopped as well!
Do not shop at Game Day Clothing at North Grand mall... The woman working at the front register could not be more insulting and rude. I went in to try on a basketball jersey and she said it was all the way on the top of her inventory, then she stated she didn't want to get it down... She continued to say that if I was just going to just try it on I was insulting her store. Obviously they don't know how to treat a potential customer.
