Everything you are looking for Northgrand mall is smaller than most but has lots of stores. The mall itself is wonderfull, clean, great atmosphere, lounging/rest areas, small food court. Nicely decorated, totally beautiful during the holidays with the different decorations. All the business that are at the mall are friendly and make shopping fun and wanting to come back. PROS: varity of stores CONS: none
You would expect better from a college town North Grand is a decent mall but you would expect more from a college town. The mall itself is very small and does not have a very good selection of stores. It is very clean and nicely decorated but lacks in qualify shopping. There are 3 anchors stores, but the Sears is really quite pathetic. They do not even carry any clothing! They could really use a wider variety of shops and a lot more room!

Stores are usually full of products and the larger ones have friendly and helpful employees. Mall management has changed a couple of times in the past few years and, in my estimation, could do a LOT more to make the mall more inviting and more promotion to get more people there. With Cy-Ride, (FREE for Students) it is amazing how few ISU students shop there. Sad to see the theatre close recently. Also won't be surprised to see current vacancies remain so during the poor economy.
