I just moved to the Austin area. I am thrilled with my selection of a cardiologist with Dr. Risinger. I had an initial visit and a six month follow-up and both exceeded my expectations. He thoroughly answered all my questions, gave me diet and health suggestions and even assisted in a plan to exercise more. I highly recommend

This was only the second time in my life going to a cardiologist and I was really nervous and prepared for bad news. From the front office staff, doctor's assistant to Dr. Risinger himself, the entire visit was professional and courteous. While the news wasn't as bleak as I expected, Dr. Risinger took time to point out changes that I needed to make and listened to my concerns and questions. Norman Risinger, MD at Austin Heart - South Austin to me is the best Heart Doctor anyone could ask for he is very dedicated to his patients. Doctor Risinger takes his time with you and is never in such a big hurry that he does not listen and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Dr. Risinger and Staff were very friendly. I enjoyed experience as New Patient. He took the time to explain and answer my questions. I felt he cared about my concerns and did not try to be in a rush.
Good chair side manner &really pays attention to your questions/concerns. The entire staff and Dr. R always enjoyable to be around. It puts you at ease.
Doctor Risinger is a very professional, knowledgeable, and caring Cardiac Physician. He has been very thorough with me and listens to my concerns, and he also has a sense of humor that is much appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Risinger if you need a cardiologist.
