Dr. Risinger is an outstanding physician who exemplifies the best of the medical profession. He listens, is patient (especially with the elderly), and explains medical conditions and procedures in layman's terms. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an exceptional doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Risinger by my family GP several years ago and I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, professional, caring doctor. He always puts me at ease, never rushes my visit, addresses each issue I bring up in clear language that is understandable to the patient. A great staff is an added bonus. Dr. Risinger the best and I feel very comfortable referring him to family, friends and anybody who needs an excellent doctor.

I had never been to a cardiologist until a few years ago. I was referred to Dr. Risinger before a scheduled surgery. He walked into the examining room with a smile on his face....putting me at ease right away. Listened intently to very question I had and he took the time to answer in a language that I could understand. I never felt rushed in the least and I felt that he really cares about his patients. In addition, the staff at Austin Heart South are always very friendly and helpful

While a busy man, Dr. Risinger makes sure to take the time to fully explain things and to answer any and all questions. When the appointment is finished, if there is to be follow on appointments, he does not leave you until you are in the capable hands of one of the office staff.
