Amazing run event bringing together the World and its seas in 3 days.
The Harborfest was a fantastic event and endeared Norfolk to us even more! We had a great, wonderful time-3 days of pure fun and excitement!
Waterside looks really great. Nice atmosphere and family oriented shops, the areas for kids enjoyment, adult areas for adults. It has a nice all around appeal for people to enjoy.
Harborfest: Warnings about hot pavement should be posted for dog owners. Saw way too many people out there with dogs, not worried about their feet. Maybe the event should be "no dogs allowed" because not a single person out there with their pets showed common sense. Had a lady tell me her dogs feet were made for the hot pavement. NO dogs feet are made to stand or walk on hot pavement. I also saw another dog dragging its owner into the shade while the owner pulled it back out into the sun onto the hot ground.
Business response:
Harborfest is not open to pets, except for service animals. For lots of good reasons, Harborfest is not the appropriate event for our pets!

Great time at Harborfest, nice variety of food, bdverages, music and arts & crafts to suit all tastes.
Very impressed with the rebuilt of Waterside. So let's keep it clean and keep the gangs out
