Awesome time, event was well planned.
I attended the Bayou Boogalou this year..for the third year and was surprised to not see shelter or a large tent to hide people from the sun. I saw triangular tarps in the air but no tents..Saw the cool air can too. Also not enough places to buy water WITHOUT filling out a survey...which I did. Decided not to go Sat and Sun as a result of the lack of shelter because of the impending hot weather.

Thank you for your review. Due to the park damage we could not offer shade provided by the large tent. We did try to provide alternate shade, but we recognize for many it was not the same. All of our food vendors sold water (the bars were the only places that didn't) but we will pass your suggestion along.…See More
🎹⚓️🎼⛵️😎🏖🎤We have been going for years and this year we attended all 3 days and had a grand ole time. We are now 71 and young at heart and did it all. 3 wonderful days. We enjoyed the music especially on the Boardwalk stage. Parade of sail was beautiful as always. ⛴🌴🛳Kathy and her crew always do a marvelous job. We didn’t see her walking around this year. Hope she is well. Thanks again for a great Festival

It would have been nice if everything at the festival would have started at 10:00 am when it opened for the instead of 12:00 pm after being there for two hours.

Hi Paul, Sorry about any confusion- we provided a soft opening complete with bounce houses at 10 for families before it got too crowded. However, we see where that could have been confusing and we will do our best to make it more clear next year. Thank you for your review.
