Love me some Nordstrand Pickups! I currently I have 4 basses loaded with them and two more on the way. In terms of describing tone, they let the sound of my hands truly shine, and to me that's the ticket. Nothing is hyped, so my control of dynamic range is very wide. I play with gorilla hands often, but equally light as a feather, they accommodate and compliment this element of my musically perfectly.
I have three basses with Nordy pickups! Best way to describe them is they let your bass sound like your bass! Proud to endorse them!
Big Singles are the best, they sound amazing in my custom MLp King SC.
Carey's pickups have always given me the ability to create and play the music I am hearing with the sounds I want to create the music with. He really wants to see that his customers find the tools necessary to create whatever it is they are hearing and his pickups, at least for me, have always produced consistent and unparalleled quality tones.
