Too expensive

Excellent tiramisu. I've been eating and baking tiramisu for decades, and this one is top notch. Very airy texture, not too sweet, good amount of biscuits. The ube tiramisu was an unexpected twist, and the nuttiness was a surprise. It serves two adults who are really into it, or can be stretched to 3 (more reasonable) people. The only downside is the shop. It's not much of a shop all in all. There is more seating upstairs but it's rather bleak. Better consider this an expensive takeout for special occasions.

The highlight of this dessert was definitely the mascarpone layer, rich and decadent. My favorite are the pistachio and original tiramisu. I also tried the matcha tiramisu, but was let down by the flavor distribution. I expected to taste more of the matcha within the cake itself, but the flavor was mainly concentrated in the thick powder layer on top.

Customer service was quick, polite, and helpful - shared both customer favourites along with their favourites. Delicious but not worth the $22 / container. Quantity does not justify cost. We tried hazelnut and strawberry, both light with just the right amount of sweetness. The hazelnut was dominated by a mocha flavour, and the strawberry reminded me of an angel cake. Both were a hit with the family, with the strawberry being the top among our group of 4.
