The staff is so uniformly patient ! I was a little nervous about the procedure and they gave me the reassurance I needed. Dr. Patel came in, said hello and I don’t remember anything after that. The whole procedure was quick and pain free.
Very professional and experienced. Also friendly and comfortable talking with you. An excellent doctor. I will stay with him.
I recently had an ERCP performed due to a blocked bile duct. Dr. Patel was outstanding in performing the procedure without causing any bleeding or pain to the lining of my esophogus, bile duct, or pancreas. He also took time to see me right after the surgery and the following morning to discuss the procedure. He is a very good and empathetic GI doctor in the DFW area and I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Patel is such an exceptional doctor. You immediately feel at ease and so easy to talk. He takes the time to ensure you understand procedures, exam results etc.. I’m so thankful to have Dr. Patel who has helped and continues to help me through stomach cancer.
I had ERCP and have nothing but praise for the procedure and very personable care I received. Dr Patel called after procedure and thoroughly explained his findings.

My previous colonoscopy with Dr Patel revealed pre cancerous polyps which he removed and most likely saved my life. This time no issues! His support staff Karla and Lane, Nichole and Alex were especially friendly and knowledgeable and made me very comfortable throughout the process. I highly recommend Dr Patel and his team of professionals!
When my PCP suggested I needed an Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) to complete diagnosis of a recent problem, I immediately told him I'd contact Dr. Patel, who has been my GI Specialist for 5 years.
