Highly impressed. Clear he reviewed medical records, knew what he was doing, and clearly explained what needed to be done and the best way to do it. Very impressive medical credentials and background.
Dr. Patel is very professional but is able to maintain a kind temperament with his patients. I had my first colonoscopy and he and his staff were amazing. He visited me in recovery and made sure that we understood everything he saw. The office staff as well as the staff from the outpatient hospital called to check on me after my procedure.
My first appointment with Dr Patel as my GI doctor had retired. Dr Patel came highly recommended by my primary care physician. I had to wait approximately 15 minutes in the exam room, not an unusual amount of time based on other doctors I have seen. I found Dr Patel to be friendly and easy to talk to. He listened and took time to answer my questions. He never seemed to be in a hurry. The office staff was friendly and efficient and the office clean and well organized. Seemed very well run.
Dr. Patel is excellent! He got me in for a test fast and he listens. I highly recommend him.
I am grateful that Dr. Nishant Patel took the path of “better to be safe than sorry” by ordering the CT scans this year, requiring a surgeon to do hernia surgery. First scan also showed abnormal result. Waited 2 months post surgery for redo CT scan which showed possible new concern. But surgeon and Dr. Patel reassured OK and do not have abscess or cancer. I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Patel when anyone asks for a gastroenterologist recommendation in Flower Mound.
I would highly recommend Dr Patel. He’s a good communicator, answering questions in a way that’s easy to understand & he takes time with you. He listens & evaluates & explains. The only complaint is that if u have an appointment with the dr & you make 1 with the nurse practitioner(who’s excellent), ur dr appointment is then cancelled & so you have to wait longer to see the dr.
Dr. Patel was exceptional. He took his time with acquiring a complete history of my symptoms. He took as much time as was needed and was very caring.
