RecommendedDr. Buchanan is a great Doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable in the area of ankle and bones. He performed a fusion on me and will now be performing an ankle replacement. I had a great visit with Dr. Buchanan and his team on Friday! I appreciated Dr. Buchanan as he spent the time answering all my question as I was really worried about my injuries. I would highly recommend his practice.
I had a great visit with Dr. Buchanan yesterday. The whole experience with the staff was great from the time I made the appt to arrival and the visit. The doc and staff were so professional and it was refreshing. My ankle is already feeling better!
Dr. Clay Wellborn is one of the best Orthopedic surgeons in Northern VA. He has replaced both my knees and the surgeries and rehab were trouble free. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for an Orthopedic surgeon !!!

Dr. Buchanan has a easy bedside manner and you can immediately tell that he is very knowledgeable. I appreciated that he had an approachability in his demeanor, that made me very comfortable in voicing my opinion about my preferences in the treatment of my ankle. I left the appointment confident in Dr. Buchanan’s competence and feeling very comfortable about my treatment plan and choice of Surgeon.
Dr Buchanan is amazing. I was very nervous about my sugerical procedure and he made me feel very at ease. He and his staff are great and definitely care about their patience! He definitely deserves five stars.
I was referred to Dr Buchanan and I have been there twice. He is very good about explaining what is going on with your issues and let’s you ask all the questions you want. Staff is very competent and friendly.
