I have been with Dr. Maw Maw for about 1 year now. She is amazing and her staff is AWESOME! Everytime I go in, they have a smile on there face. I’ve never seen them act in a unprofessional manner. They always ask how I am doing, if I need water, etc. I started with a NP who is there only on Fridays I believe. But then followed up with Dr. herself. This was the best visit I’ve had in years. She answered everything & didn’t rush me at all! My 45 min was so worth it!!

I am a new patient and the first time I phoned to make my 1st appointment, I was on hold for over 5 minutes. Then the doctor kept me waiting for her for almost 45 minutes. Today, I phoned for a prescription re-fill and this time six minutes on hold. That is overly past the amount of time someone should have returned to the phone to take my name and information.

The majority of the staff is selective with the smiles and friendly greetings both on the phone and in the office. I have come to feel that staff avoids me when I come in for weekly injections, so much that I just stopped coming in. Dr. Nina is a sweetheart but she does not listen. I have not felt well for well over 2 years and she insists that I am perfectly fine based only on blood work. We are supposed to listed our bodies when something isn't right. I wish my Dr. would listen too.

I made my appointment based on the representation that my initial visit would be my annual well exam and therefore no co payment. My insurer confirmed this was OK and I disclosed this to the phone staff when I made the appointment. I completed all the numerous forms at home and was told them I turned them in my co payment was due despite what the insurer said. No arguing. And they subbed two nurses for a board certified MD ! Never met the Dr. Sorry - wrong guy to do this to. AVOID.

I would recommend Dr. Maw Maw to anyone looking for a caring physician who really cares about you and your needs. I have recommended her to several people who love her also.
