Best empathetic doctor in the Coachella Valley. She cares so much about all her patients and does her best to give them the best medical treatment ,advice and recommendations when needed. Highly recommended all the way from by our PA from Loma Linda.
She is kind and always attentive to our needs. She is a great doctor and we are so happy to have her as our family dr. Also NPs and assistants are the best!

I moved to a desert area and was trying to find a doctor. I called and left message, never received a call back. Even if the doctor doesn't accept a new patients I feel like I should receive a call with an explanation. Horrible customer service and it looks like employees don't care. Very disappointing!
I have been with Dr. Maw Maw for a couple of years. I have watched her staff make fun of elderly people when they leave the office. Currently, they never answer the phone and when they do check the voice mail messages and IF they return your call it's the next day or so. I've left messages on the Nurses voice mail only to be told that the Nurse is not in today and will not retrieve the message when I had followed up with an additional call! Dr MawMaw is wonderful on the 2 occasions that I actually got to see her. It’s usually with her NP’s though. I think they just have too many patients because if I need paperwork faxed to a surgeon for a scheduled surgery or a referral sent to a specialist I have either had to copy my chart there and pay to fax it myself or wait over a month for a referral to specialists I’ve been seeing for 2 years but need referrals now that my insurance changed. I recently had Dr. Maw Maw, pull some strings to get me admitted to Enisenhower Medical Center, to have a Picline procedure, everything went so smooth. At the time she’s wasn’t my primary care doctor, my wife and I were so impressed she is now my families primary physician, she has amazing bed side manners and has great follow up skills. Staff seems unable to handle routine things. Wife couldn’t breath, was promised prescription for drugs and home nebulizer. Rx for device never was called in. This happened three times. Finally the doctor took my wife’s phone number, promised to resolve problem. Three weeks later, nothing, not even promised phone call from doctor. Look elsewhere, this place has poor service.
Dr. Maw Maw let's her staff dictate who she sees and lie about patients to her, and she falls for it hook, line and sinker. Offered to see me in the parking lot after her rude office manager Michelle would not listen to the fact no one called me to tell me (the day before my appt) that I would no longer be seeing the Dr, but a PA and had Maw Maw say she could not see me anymore. No customer service skills at all.
